User Management
In the Geoportal Administrator application page, where all the functions are listed, user management is located in the second section of the function list.
User
To access user control and management, there are two ways to do it. Clicking on the name “Users” directly or clicking on “Modify.” In either case, the user edit window that appears is as follows:
Create New User
If you want to add a new user, simply clicking on “Add User” will redirect you to the window for creating a new user and filling in the required data.
After completing the fields, there are several options:
- Save and Add a New User
- Save and Continue Editing in the Previous Window
- Save
Modify User Data
To modify any data of a user, click on “Modify” at the beginning of the tab, and it will redirect you to the window where there are several options to make changes to the user.
Delete User
If you want to delete one or more users, you can select the desired users at the top of the table and choose the option “Delete Selected Users” from the dropdown menu above.
User Permissions
At the user level, by default, we can configure the following permissions:
- Active: The user is active. If we deactivate this option, the user will not be able to access the Geoportal.
- Staff member: The user can access the Geoportal Administrator to configure it.
- Superuser status: The user has all existing permissions without the need for further configuration.
