Measurement and drawing tools
Tools for drawing and measuring geometry (distances, areas, coordinates…)
This tool allows us to choose between different types of geometry to draw to the geoportal and then, if necessary, we can export in GeoJSON or DXF format.
In general, this is how it works:
- Select tool
- Click points on the map to apply the drawing
- The checkbox continue drawing allows us to continue drawing, redundantly, without having to activate the tool button again at the end of a line, a part of a polygon, a circle…
- Once the geometry has been drawn, we can delete them from the list of geometries that will appear on the panel.
- The tool will allow us to add an informative message to each geometry drawn and download it all in DXF or GeoJSON.
InformacióN
Drawn geometries are also shared with the tool with the share map
Drawing points/coordinates: Once the tool is selected, we only have to click on the map to provide points. These will be registered on the left side, inside the drawing and measuring panel with their coordinates. There you can give them a name and delete them.
Draw lines/measure distances: select the tool and click on the map to draw. We will use the double-click to finish the geometry.
Draw polygons/measure areas: select the tool and click on the map to draw. We will use the double click to finish the geometry.
Circle/area of influence: select the tool and click on the centre of the circle and the radius. Optionally, we can indicate the radius of the circle before indicating the first point.
